New Generation Battery Technology for Guaranteed Charging and Range

The Foton Ollin EL electric light truck is equipped with a 100.46kWh battery from CATL, positioned as an inter-city transport product. Its dimensions are 5995x2190x3160mm with a wheelbase of 3360mm. The new model features the third-generation single-pack battery, which boasts a 5% increase in energy density compared to previous products, reaching 159.56wh/kg.

Additionally, the charging time from 20% to 80% is only 30 minutes, a significant improvement over the older models.

Featuring an electric drive axle drive mode, Foton's third-generation self-developed electric drive axle offers stronger performance, higher compatibility, and better transmission efficiency. The PEU integration is higher than previous products, the VCU performance is stronger, and the processor frequency has been increased from 150Hz to 200Hz, enhancing performance by 33% compared to the previous generation.

Double Improvement in Load Capacity and Braking Safety

The Foton Ollin EL utilizes a lightweight + high-load-bearing technology chassis. The chassis frame is an 810/750mm straight-through beam made of 750L high-strength steel, significantly improving strength. It also features a 179x59.5x4 rolled frame with high dimensional accuracy, ensuring more stable quality and effectively achieving vehicle lightweighting.

The rear axle adopts a 4.5T-class rear axle, with an option to install 3/8+6 leaf springs to further enhance load capacity. The multi-leaf spring suspension also helps improve driving stability and comfort.

With enhanced load capacity, safety has also been improved. The Foton Ollin EL adopts air brakes + wedge brakes, which are commonly used in heavy-duty vehicles and offer greater braking force, faster response, and shorter braking distances. Combined with air brakes, it can better handle harsh conditions such as heavy loads and uphill driving.
